Dan Marcellus is a drummer and Ableton Live programmer/controllerist. He attended the Peabody Conservatory of Johns Hopkins University where he studied closely with jazz legends, including Gary Thomas (Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock, John McLaughlin). Dan has worked as an Ableton programmer/controllerist with Harry Styles, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Blood Orange, Chet Faker (aka Nick Murphy), Zayn, Iggy Azalea and Lo Moon and as a drummer + Ableton operator for Lo Fang, Grace Woodroofe (R.W. Grace), Ray Little and Future People.
Dan has also produced, recorded and written for advertisements, TV, film and several artists including Ray Little, Grace Woodroofe (R.W. Gace) and Future People. He has taught privately for many years and maintains a full drum/Ableton Live teaching studio in Sherman Oaks, Los Angeles.
