Q: WHAT SKILLS SHOULD I BE PROFICIENT IN TO ATTEND?
A: You should have intermediate-to-advanced production skills in Ableton Live and knowledge of audio technology.
Q: WHAT GEAR IS REQUIRED TO ATTEND?
A: Laptop using Ableton Live 9, 10, or 11 Standard or Suite (we highly recommend Suite)
The following are optional, but recommended for hands-on learning:
- USB controller with basic MIDI/CC functionality
- Audio Interface - 2 channel I/O minimum, we prefer UA Apollos
- Studio-quality headphones
- Dynamic microphone with XLR cable
- Antares Autotune plugin (we recommend Realtime or Artist, but most versions will work)
Q: AM I A GOOD FIT FOR THE PLAYBACK PROFESSION? FOR MASTERTRACK?
A: Being a playback engineer is not only about being musically and technically savvy, but demands high emotional intelligence. Whether you are a seasoned roadie or fresh to live music production, this event is designed to provide the most comprehensive and intensive exposure to the practice of playback engineering.
Q: HOW MUCH DOES MASTERTRACK SUMMIT COST? CAN I GET A REFUND IF I CANCEL?
A: Attendance offered only to approved applicants and is $2950 at full price. If you decide to cancel your registration before February 1st, 2024 11:59PM PST, you will receive a full refund less a $250 processing fee. Cancellations will only be honored if you send an email to info@electroniccreatives.com with the subject line: "MASTERTRACK 2024 - Cancel Reservation”. If you do not send advance written notice of your cancellation via email before February 1st, 2024 11:59PM, are a no-show, or if you leave the event prior to its conclusion, your payment is non-refundable and non-transferable.
